Why We Can Soar >
During a 1 week visit to Detroit, William felt called to lift the community he grew up in and loved. In his words, “There’s so much talent here from music to art and just the overall space and opportunity for growth.” He saw ways to create much needed opportunities for people young and old and embarked on it during his spare time.
William holds extensive experience within software in predictive analytics. His work as the Global Sales Manager for the nuclear software division has been invaluable to clients and ultimately the patients who benefit from the equipment for things like cancer detection. He relocated from Detroit to Orange County, California and Scottsdale, Arizona for over ten years where we worked and researched his new surroundings on how they overcame economic disparities. His research motivated him to return to Detroit to implement his new findings for a struggling community with the inception of Rohns Community Development Corporation. “My vision for Rohns is to give hope and transform the lives of citizens within the community”, said Harris. William Harris is truly a servant of the community and is dedicated to rebuilding to once neglected inner-city neighborhoods.
